• Wild Sunflower Honey - Is native to the forest within the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt in the slopes of volcanoes such as the Popocatépetl and Iztaccihuatl, where bees feed themselves from two different wildflowers: Acahual (Simsia Amplexicaulis) and Casahuate (Ipomoea Arborescens), which are white and yellow flowers. This explains why the Wild Sunflower honey color varies from yellow to white, depending on the predominant nectar.
